This page covers the platform UI for the leaderboard. For what counts toward points and the misuse policy, see Leaderboard and Learning in Public.

Where to find the leaderboard

Each cohort has its own leaderboard page on the platform.

Direct links per cohort:

What the leaderboard shows

For each participant in the cohort:

  • Position and display name (anonymous handles allowed).
  • Total points earned.
  • Progress bar showing course completion.

Point values on the platform

The platform awards points as follows:

  • Correct homework answers: +1 point each.
  • Learning in public links: +1 point each.
  • FAQ contributions: +1 point each (after acceptance into the public FAQ).
  • Peer reviews completed on time: +3 points each.
  • Project completion: variable, based on peer-review scoring.
