Prerequisites

The AI Dev Tools Zoomcamp is approachable for anyone who writes code. You don’t need prior experience with AI tools.

Required skills

• A basic ability to program in any language (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Comfort with the command line.

You do not need

• Prior experience with AI tools, coding assistants, or agents. The course introduces them from the start.
• Web development or Django experience. Module 1 homework is beginner-friendly, and the AI assistants guide you through each step.
• A powerful machine. A standard laptop is enough; the heavy lifting runs on hosted models and cloud APIs.

The course is for anyone who writes code and wants to be more productive with AI tools - software developers, ML and MLOps engineers, AI engineers, data scientists, and analysts. It focuses on software development workflows rather than data-specific tasks.
