Guy Adams is an experienced CTO and VP who has spent more than 20 years running software development organizations, and he now devotes that leadership experience to DataOps. His mission is to bring the proven principles and business value of DevOps and CI/CD to the world of data, so that data teams can deliver with the same speed, reliability, and discipline that transformed software engineering.

Guy is a cofounder of the truedataops.org movement, a community dedicated to applying true DevOps thinking to data and analytics. His track record earned him recognition as a Snowflake Global number one Data SuperHero, an acknowledgment of both his technical depth and his advocacy for better ways of working with data. He writes and speaks about how organizations can treat data pipelines, testing, and deployment with the rigor they already apply to code.

Away from work, Guy describes himself as a dad, technologist, (over)engineer, amateur inventor, skier, and mild eccentric, a combination that explains both his enthusiasm for engineering and his skepticism of over-complicated solutions.
