Engin Yöyen

Engin Yöyen is a software engineer whose career has covered an unusually wide range of territory, from the Internet of Things and telecommunications to smart classrooms and CMS platforms. Along the way he has built software at places you might have heard of, including Microsoft and eBay, collecting hard-won experience about how large products and large organizations actually work.

Today Engin is a co-founder of trustpath.io, a cybersecurity company in the business of stopping fraud before it even thinks about happening. Building a fraud prevention product means combining engineering rigor with an attacker’s imagination, a combination that suits someone who describes himself as someone who likes tinkering with tech and experimenting with new ideas.

His academic background is just as broad as his work history: Computer Science paired with Psychology, plus Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Embedded Software Engineering. Based in Berlin with his wife and two tiny humans, he is also a humble home chef (emphasis on humble), a motorcycle enthusiast, and a writer who occasionally publishes just to see if anyone is reading.
