Eddy Zulkifly is a Staff Data Engineer at Kinaxis, where he builds robust data platforms across Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS. With a decade of experience in data, he has worked on everything from pipeline architecture to cost-aware design in the modern data stack.

Before joining Kinaxis, Eddy was a Senior Data Engineer at Home Depot, specializing in e-commerce and supply chain analytics, where large-scale retail data shaped his pragmatic approach to platform engineering. He regularly shares hard-won lessons on FinOps for data engineers, covering cloud cost optimization, BigQuery cost controls and query efficiency, and designing pipelines that balance performance with price.

Eddy is equally committed to giving back to the data community. He mentors engineers as an ADPList Mentor, serves as a Teaching Assistant at Uplimit, and contributes to open-source data projects. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and when he is not working on data platforms he enjoys exploring the analytics behind Fantasy Premier League.
