Verena Weber believes that generative AI is going to transform the way we work and interact with devices, and her mission is to help companies prepare for that transformation. She has strong expertise in natural language processing and more than seven years of experience in machine learning, supported by an academic background in statistics.

For years, Verena worked as a Research Scientist at Alexa AI, part of Amazon, before recently leaving to work as a freelancer. Today she helps organizations understand what GenAI can and cannot do, and guides them through adopting NLP and generative AI capabilities in practice. Outside of work, Verena balances the hours spent in front of the laptop with yoga, meditation, sound baths, and outdoor sports.
