Vanessa Aguilar is a Mexican-American Site Reliability Engineer living and working in Berlin. In her work she keeps systems dependable, drawing on the operational mindset that defines reliability engineering: understanding how production systems fail, and building the automation, monitoring, and practices that keep them healthy.

Through engineering, Vanessa aims to create ways to empower her community and share her love for technology. When she is not in front of her computer, she is cuddling with her pug Connie, cooking Oaxacan food, listening to music, or doing all three at once.
