Tomasz Hinc is a DataOps practitioner living in Poznań, Poland. After working across product analytics, data engineering, data science, and machine learning, he fell in love with operations, the discipline that keeps data platforms reliable, reproducible, and pleasant to use.

His work focuses on DataOps and GitOps best practices: Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Atlantis; Git-based workflows from branch to dry-run and apply; and reproducibility strategies using fixed dependency versions and Docker. He is equally at home fixing poorly written IAM roles, untangling silent failures in Airflow, and teaching data scientists the minimal operational skills, such as Git, the command line, and IAM, that make every data role easier.

Tomasz finds real satisfaction in removing friction: making onboarding smoother, pipelines more predictable, and teams more confident about shipping to production.
