Tatyjana Ankudo brings more than 20 years of research and development experience, primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors, to her work in data science. A graduate of the Biological Faculty of the Belarusian State University, she spent two decades working as a microbiologist in laboratories in Minsk, Hungary, Sweden, and Germany, and earned a PhD in biology.
At 45, Tatyjana made a deliberate career change into data science, retraining intensively in programming and machine learning while continuing to work. She joined the international company dunnhumby, where she analyzes data from a large grocery store chain and continues to grow as a data analyst. Her story shows that curiosity, discipline, and persistence matter more than age when rebuilding a career.
Today she aims to become a valuable specialist at the crossroads of biotechnology and computational science, combining deep domain knowledge in the life sciences with modern data skills.
