Supreet Kaur builds and leads data science work at the intersection of finance, education, and community. She is an AVP on the Data Strategy and Products team at Morgan Stanley, where she works on the strategy and data products behind one of the world’s leading financial services firms. Her practical focus areas include responsible and explainable AI: detecting bias, enforcing fairness, and governing AI systems in production without sacrificing business outcomes, from glass-box explainability techniques to data-level fairness measures, grounded in real cases such as bias in credit decisions.

Supreet is equally committed to the next generation of data professionals. She serves as a Data Science Mentor at Columbia University and Rutgers University, sits on the advisory board at Ithaca College, and founded DataBuzz, a volunteer-driven community that supports people who want to pivot into the field of technology.
