Srivathsan Canchi is an engineering leader specializing in large-scale data and machine learning infrastructure. At Intuit, he is the head of engineering for the company’s real-time streaming data infrastructure. Previously, he was responsible for Intuit’s Machine Learning platform, where his team built the systems that power hundreds of ML models and serve hundreds of millions of predictions every day, and open sourced the MLOps tools mlctl and baklava.

Before Intuit, Srivathsan led the build-out of the cloud platform at eBay. His team created a platform-as-a-service that enabled eBay to run thousands of services handling tens of billions of calls every day, and was one of the early contributors and adopters of Kubernetes in an on-premise environment.

He has shared this experience with the community through sessions such as the DataTalks.Club webinar Orchestrating Enterprise ML Workload Jobs Across Clouds, covering the practical challenges of running machine learning workloads at enterprise scale.
