Sonal Goyal is the founder of Zingg (https://www.zingg.ai), an open-source, machine learning powered identity resolution and entity resolution framework built to deliver a single source of truth for customers and suppliers. The project is open-sourced at https://github.com/zinggAI/zingg and helps teams deduplicate and reconcile records in modern data stacks.

Sonal’s career in tech spans more than two decades. She started as a programmer and analyst at an investment bank and has since held technical roles across domains including telecom, banking, and insurance. Before founding Zingg, she ran a data consultancy solving warehousing, data pipeline, and machine learning problems, experience that now shapes how Zingg handles the messy realities of real-world entity resolution.

She is a repeat speaker at conferences such as Databricks Data and AI, Strata, Data Con LA, and GIDS, and her Open Source Spotlight demo of Zingg at DataTalks.Club became one of the most-watched videos in the series. Sonal holds a BTech from IIT Delhi and lives in India.
