Ruslan Shchuchkin is a data and AI professional based in Berlin whose career took a few turns before landing in machine learning. He started out in business and marketing, then moved into data science, working at OLX Group and later at Smart Steel Technologies, applying machine learning to real industrial problems. Today he is a GenAI engineer at Finance Guru, where he builds production systems around large language models and generative AI.
Alongside his day job, Ruslan is known in the data community for an unusually honest take on productivity. Having tried plenty of healthy and not-so-healthy ways to stay focused, from stress-testing data science study roadmaps to landing his first data science job, he assembled a set of techniques, protocols, and concepts about the brain, body, and mind that he now shares with fellow data professionals: sleep planning, circadian light exposure, dopamine management, habit tracking, and meditation, all grounded in his own experiments rather than hype.
