Rob De Wit is a developer advocate at Iterative AI, working at the heart of the open source MLOps ecosystem. He has a background in information sciences and practical experience in data analytics and data engineering, which gives him a grounded, practitioner-oriented perspective on the tools and workflows he shares with the community.

Before joining Iterative, Rob worked in FinTech, an environment where data pipelines and models face strict demands on reliability and correctness. Right now he is learning a whole lot about MLOps in public, exploring how machine learning systems are versioned, tested, and operated in practice. Having experienced first-hand the gap between data scientists and engineers, he is particularly interested in bridging that divide, helping both sides speak a common language about reproducibility, collaboration, and production-ready machine learning.
