As CTO of Analytics for a Better World, Parvathy Krishnan leads the technical mission of a non-profit organization that applies analytics to the Sustainable Development Goals. Her team helps social sector organizations move beyond basic reporting toward diagnostics, prediction, and optimization, with real deployments ranging from a waste-collection optimization project in Nairobi to healthcare access and COVID testing lab placement.
Parvathy’s approach is practical and hands-on. Through discovery workshops and fellowship pilots, she helps non-profits assess their needs, design data maturity roadmaps, and structure teams that blend analysts, data scientists, and engineers. Her guidance covers the full stack of nonprofit analytics: tools such as KoboToolbox and PostgreSQL, dashboards, Python and R, cloud deployment, plus the governance practices such as privacy, SOPs, and version control that keep projects trustworthy.
She holds a Professional Doctorate in Data Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, combining rigorous academic training with a deep commitment to using analytics for social impact.
