Ondřej Kubera has built his career in IT delivery and consulting with a focus on analytics, covering areas such as business intelligence, information management, and data governance. What drives him is bridging the gap between the business and technical perspectives in the data analytics domain: making sure that what gets built is what the organization actually needs, and that analytical work translates into decisions.
A graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Ondřej has experience across hands-on engineering, client-facing, and managerial roles. He has led, designed, and consulted on analytics initiatives in major consulting firms, a boutique data intelligence company, and a global pharma company, which gave him a broad view of how different organizations set up, run, and sometimes derail their analytical work.
He is a co-author of Data Analytics Initiatives: Managing Analytics for Success, a book that captures the specifics and complexity of analytics initiatives in a structured, holistic way, helping readers understand typical challenges and set their own initiatives up for success.
