Nemanja Radojkovic is a Data Scientist and MLOps Engineer whose career runs from electrical engineering through consulting to production machine learning. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, he has lived in Leuven, Belgium since 2014. Along the way he has worked as a salesman and as a consultant in both Big4 and boutique firms, and although he dropped out of a PhD program, that research background still shapes his practical approach to ML systems.
His MLOps experience covers two very different worlds. In regulated finance environments he has worked on compliant model deployment, CI/CD, model governance, monitoring, and use cases such as AML, fraud detection, and document and email automation. For startups he advocates a lean, SaaS-first approach to MLOps: shipping an MVP stack quickly while avoiding vendor lock-in and keeping tech debt under control.
Alongside his main roles, Nemanja teaches Data Science, Machine Learning, and Python programming, and has contributed two courses to DataCamp. He jokingly dates his Python expertise to 2011, when he was, in his own words, “bit by a radioactive Python.” Outside of work, he holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a proud father of three.
