Maria-Liisa Bruckert is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of SQIN, a health tech company that combines AI-based diagnosis, a digital clinic flow, and telemedicine to make medical care more accessible. She leads the company’s business and strategy development, drawing on deep expertise in digital strategy, strategic planning, business development, startup consulting, and digitization.

Maria-Liisa began her career in electrical engineering before moving into health tech, a transition driven by the digitization opportunity she saw in medical systems. At SQIN she has built a practical playbook for de-risking product development, from MVP strategy and market research to aligning AI diagnosis with concrete business cases, while navigating the ethics, UX, and communication questions that come with applying AI to sensitive healthcare contexts.

Her work has earned significant recognition. She is a recipient of the Google Female Founder Immersion 2020, won the Google Play Best of 2020 Award with the AI and machine learning based application SQIN, and was named one of Industry Era’s 10 most admired women leaders in 2021. She regularly shares her experience in building AI-powered digital health startups with founders and practitioners.
