Mahmoud AbdelAziz has spent more than 8 years spearheading projects and products across machine vision, robotics, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, quality control, and software development. His work sits where computer vision meets the factory floor, building systems that act as the eye of production and automate inspection tasks that once required slow, error-prone manual checks.

Mahmoud started his first startup, QEYE, which builds machine vision solutions for the textile industry. He then founded DevisionX to build quality inspection systems that combine machine vision and AI and can be applied across many industries. Along the way he shared what he has learned with the wider community, including a hands-on conference talk on building your own AI machine vision system. He was also a partner at Digified, a company using computer vision and AI in FinTech for digital identity verification.

That combination of deep technical expertise in machine vision and hands-on startup experience across manufacturing and FinTech makes Mahmoud a practical voice on bringing AI out of the lab and onto the production line.
