Kranti K. Parisa is a technology leader with deep experience building large-scale, AI-powered products and platforms. He is currently the Vice President and Head of Product Engineering at Dialpad, where his teams build large-scale, cloud-native, real-time business communications and collaboration software powered by industry-leading in-house AI/ML and telephony technology.

Before Dialpad, Kranti led the teams responsible for search and personalization platforms, products, and services at Apple. He was also a co-founder, CTO, and technical advisor for multiple startups focused on cloud computing, SaaS, and enterprise search, an arc that spans founding teams, venture-backed products, and platforms serving users at global scale.

Kranti has contributed to the Apache Lucene/Solr community and co-authored the book Apache Solr Enterprise Search Server. He is also a co-author of Reliable Machine Learning, a book on building and operating machine learning systems that hold up in production. For his outstanding contributions to search and discovery, the U.S. Government has recognized him as a Person of Extraordinary Ability (EB1A).
