Kishan Manani is a machine learning and data science lead who helps teams deliver data and machine learning products end-to-end, from problem framing through to production. He has more than 10 years of experience applying machine learning and statistics across finance, e-commerce, and healthcare research, an unusual combination that spans both commercial and scientific settings.

Kishan is an active open source contributor to well-known Python packages, including Statsmodels, Feature-engine, and Prophet, libraries that thousands of data scientists rely on for time series analysis and feature engineering. As an online course instructor, he turns that practical experience into teaching that helps working data scientists level up their skills.

Kishan attained a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London, with research in applied large-scale time-series analysis and modelling of cardiac arrhythmias. That deep background in time series underpins much of his work today, from forecasting systems in industry to the open source tools he helps maintain.
