Josh Tobin is the founder and CEO of a stealth machine learning startup. He previously worked as a deep learning and robotics researcher at OpenAI and as a management consultant at McKinsey, a combination of research depth and business perspective that shapes how he thinks about building ML products.

Josh is also the creator of Full Stack Deep Learning, the first course focused on the emerging engineering discipline of production machine learning. Through the course he has taught practitioners what it takes to ship machine learning systems that work reliably outside the lab, from project scoping to deployment and monitoring.

Josh did his PhD in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, advised by Pieter Abbeel, a leading researcher in robotics and reinforcement learning.
