Irina Brudaru is the Head of Data & Analytics at Finlex, where she leads data analytics for the FinTech company and develops training programs grounded in real industry practice. Her curriculum work spans fraud detection, from rule-based approaches to neural methods, chargeback modeling, and hands-on BigQuery and Google Cloud labs that give analysts production-relevant skills.

Irina studied computer science in Romania and Germany and has built her career across a variety of tech companies in Berlin, Amsterdam, and the San Francisco Bay Area, including close to 6 years at Google. That international experience shaped her practical, business-first approach to analytics, from deploying machine learning in production to cohort analysis and product metrics.

Beyond her industry roles, Irina is very active as a mentor in data analytics and leadership and holds a variety of teaching positions, with a particular focus on supporting women in tech and helping career changers succeed in data analytics.
