Fernando Doglio has been working as a web developer for the past 10 years. In that time he has come to love the web and has had the opportunity to work with most of the leading technologies of each era, from PHP and Ruby on Rails to MySQL, Node.js, Angular.js, AJAX, and REST APIs. That breadth across stacks gives him a pragmatic perspective on building software for the web.

Fernando is also the author of Skills of a Successful Software Engineer, a Manning book about the craft beyond code, including the communication and professional habits that make engineers effective. In his spare time he likes to tinker and learn new things, which is why his GitHub account keeps getting new repositories every month, and he writes about himself and his work at www.fdoglio.com.

When not programming, he can be seen spending time with his family.
