Emeli Dral is a Co-founder and CTO at Evidently AI, a startup developing tools to analyze and monitor the performance of machine learning models. Her work centers on making ML systems observable in production, from evaluating model quality to detecting data drift, so that teams can ship and maintain reliable machine learning.

Emeli brings deep applied experience to this mission. Earlier, she co-founded an industrial AI startup and served as Chief Data Scientist at Yandex Data Factory, where she led more than 50 applied machine learning projects for industries ranging from banking to manufacturing. That hands-on background continues to shape how she builds developer tools for data science and MLOps teams.

She is also a dedicated educator. Emeli teaches data science at GSOM SPbU and Harbour.Space University, co-authored the Machine Learning and Data Analysis curriculum at Coursera that has reached over 100,000 students, and co-founded Data Mining in Action, the largest open data science course in Russia.
