Elena Samuylova is the Co-founder and CEO of Evidently AI, a company building open-source tools to analyze and monitor the performance of machine learning models. Her work centers on model monitoring, evaluation, and making ML systems reliable in production.

She has been active in the applied machine learning space since 2014. Previously, she co-founded and served as CPO of an industrial AI startup, working with global metal and chemical companies to implement machine learning for production optimization. Before that, she led business development at Yandex Data Factory, the enterprise AI division of Yandex, delivering ML-based solutions to retail, banking, telecom, and other industries.

That combination of enterprise AI delivery and open source product building has made Elena a frequent voice on building ML startups, open source strategy, and finding product market fit in MLOps. In 2018, she was named among the 50 Women in Product Europe by Product Management Festival.
