Denis Rothman has been building artificial intelligence since long before it was fashionable. He graduated from Sorbonne University and Paris-Diderot University, and early in his career he patented one of the very first word2matrix embedding solutions, work that put him among the pioneers of the representation techniques now central to modern natural language processing.
Denis is the author of three cutting-edge AI solutions. The first is one of the earliest AI cognitive chatbots, built more than 30 years ago and designed initially as a cognitive AI bot for IBM. The second is a profit-orientated AI resource optimizing system. The third is an AI APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) solution based on cognitive patterns: it grew out of that early chatbot work and became a robust planning system used to this day across aerospace, rail, energy, apparel, and many other industries worldwide.
Few practitioners can claim three decades of hands-on AI delivery, from conversational agents to industrial optimization at global scale. That depth of experience makes Denis a voice worth listening to on where AI has been and where it is going.
