Ba Linh Le

Ba Linh Le leads Frontline’s product offering as its Chief Data Officer. In that role she oversees the development of Lizzy, an AI-powered domestic abuse risk assessment tool, applying machine learning to one of the most consequential questions in public safety: identifying risk early so that support reaches the people who need it.

Her path into data leadership runs through the social sciences rather than a purely technical track. Ba Linh has a background in social and political science and statistics, and previously worked as a project manager and data scientist in both the public and private sectors, serving government institutions, NGOs, and companies. That mix gave her firsthand experience with the messy realities of social data, where context and care matter as much as model accuracy.

As a social data scientist, her main interest lies in translating complex data into actionable insights that foster innovation and drive positive change. Whether leading product development, building risk assessment tools, or working with public sector and nonprofit partners, she brings a combination of statistical rigor, product thinking, and a clear sense of purpose to data science for social good.
