Andrei Tserakhau is an Engineer and Technical Leader at DoubleCloud with more than 10 years of experience in IT. Over the last four years, his work has centered on distributed systems, and in particular on data delivery: the often underappreciated discipline of getting data reliably, completely, and on time from where it is produced to where it is needed.
At Yandex, Andrei worked on gradually merging the company’s disparate data delivery systems into a single cross-system data delivery service, Yandex Data Transfer. Leading that consolidation gave him deep, hard-won insight into the challenges of building data infrastructure at scale: heterogeneous sources, fragile connectors, and the operational discipline required to keep data flowing.
He describes himself as a big fan of moving data from A to B, and that enthusiasm shows in how he talks about the field. Whether discussing architecture, reliability, or the tradeoffs between building and buying data delivery tooling, Andrei brings a practitioner’s clarity to one of the most critical layers of the modern data stack.
