Andrada Olteanu is a Data Scientist at Endava, where she builds machine learning solutions and helps teams turn data into products. She is also a Kaggle Notebooks Master, a recognition of her consistently high-quality notebooks and competition work, and one of only 16 Data Science Ambassadors for Z by HP and NVIDIA, a role in which she represents and supports the global data science community.

Her path into data science ran through analytics. While completing her undergraduate degree in statistics, Andrada worked full time as a Data Analyst at Avon Cosmetics, juggling study and industry experience side by side. She then earned a master’s in Data Science and Analytics in the UK, deepening the technical foundation that supports her work today.

Having made the leap from analytics to data science herself, Andrada is a practical voice on career transitions: building a Kaggle notebook portfolio, learning Python with purpose, and preparing for the hiring process. She regularly shares what actually worked for her with people following the same road.
