Alex Ioannides is the co-founder of Bodywork Machine Learning, the company behind Bodywork, an open source deployment framework for machine learning projects developed in Python. The framework reflects his deep familiarity with the gap between training models and running them reliably in production, giving ML teams a straightforward path from repository to deployed service.

Before founding Bodywork Machine Learning, Alex spent eight years with technology companies large and small, developing solutions to data engineering and machine learning problems. He served as Chief Data Officer for LiveMore Capital, worked as a Machine Learning Engineer within Oracle’s Adaptive Intelligent Apps team, and was Head of Data Science for Perfect Channel. This mix of startup, scale-up, and enterprise experience means he has led data organizations as well as built the pipelines and models underneath them.
